*Violinist Julian Taylor
Julian Taylor is currently a violin masters student at the Cleveland Institute of Music and is studying with Joel Smirnoff. He is from the Dallas Metroplex area, but was born in Canada and spent much of his childhood there in Edmonton, Alberta. His undergraduate musical studies began at Southern Methodist University under Jan Sloman and then he transferred after two years to the Cleveland Institute of Music. Julian has been a member of both the Meadows Symphony Orchestra at SMU and the CIM Orchestra. Though his training has been in classical music, his musical interests vary from classical to jazz to electronic among others. He has been involved with numerous ensembles, including various jazz bands, a performance with The Trans-Siberian Orchestra, a flamenco group, and an eclectic hip hop group, The Off Button. After graduation, he hopes to create original music, fusing both classical and jazz music.

as "the Crown Jewel of Madison," was built in 1875 as the first bank in Madison.
